Terms and Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions below which you need to accept before booking a flight with Discover Ballooning

1. The cost is per person.
2. Full Names, ID numbers, weights and mobile numbers need to be provided when making a booking
3. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance payable at least 24 hours before your balloon flight
4. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
5. Passengers need to be able to climb in and out of the basket unassisted
6. Children must be at least 1.2m tall to see over the edge of the basket
7. Pregnant women should not fly
8. Should the flight be cancelled due to bad weather (this is for the safety of the passengers, pilots and crew members), and you choose to cancel your booking and not reschedule, Discover Ballooning reserves the right to deduct a 10% cancellation fee from your refund to cover expenses
9. If the passenger cancels the flight within 7 days prior to a flight, the deposit is forfeited
10. If passengers do not show up for a flight on the day or are late, they are liable for the full amount of the flight
11. Discover Ballooning reserves the right to launch from an alternate venue if necessary
12. Discover Ballooning reserves the right to fill baskets at their discretion
13. Passengers will be required to sign an indemnity before the flight
14. Passengers are required to declare any pre-existing medical conditions when making a booking
15. An invoice or proforma invoice will be e-mailed on request
